She was born on June 12 in Kano but hails from lgbera in Kogi State. She attended Ideal Primary School in Kano, Army Day Secondary School, Bukavu Barrack, Kano and studied Sociology at Bayero University, Kano
She began her acting career in 2001 when she played a minor role in "Rejected". Her first lead role was in "Gangster Paradise".
Her awards include; Afro Hollywood Best Actress Award, Actors Guild Icons Award, Global Leadership Award, Best Actress Award at The Eminent Awards, Best Actress Award at City People Entertainment Awards and Kogi State Youth Ambassador amongst others.
