He was born on February 1st in Ekiti State and hails from Ipoti in Ekiti State. He attended Our Saviours Anglican Primary School in Ipoti-Ekiti for his Primary and Secondary education before proceeding to Ondo State College of Arts and Science in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State.
He worked briefly as a journalist and broadcaster at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan, where he also produced jingles and musical works on radio.
He has released several smashed hit albums and won over 200 awards in his music career so far.
