She was born on July 19 in Cross River State. She had her Primary and Secondary school education in Lagos and Calabar.
Thereafter, she studied Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Laboratory Science, LUTH (Lagos University Teaching Hospital). She had a brief stint at the Bauchi State General Hospital before venturing into the entertainment industry.
Her debut in acting was in the 1993 movie, "When The Sun Sets". She has since featured in so many movies too numerous to mention. She was once married and has a beautiful daughter named, Gabrielle Nuttall.
