Telawaa: See These Common Blunders!

Telawaa-BolaEshosBlog

On TELAWAA (The English Language Academy With Ayo Alonge), we would be looking at some words.

Consider these words and note that they all end in 's'. It's a blunder to remove the 's' in "whereabouts" "unawares" and "bygones".

Examples:
I don't know her whereabouts (not "whereabout").

The question caught me unawares (not "unaware").

Let bygones be bygones (not "bygone").

These words have often been abused, and I rather we adjust.
