Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Dayo
Laluwoye observed, that there was an appreciable improvement on the workers turnout of the exercise.
The Civil Service Commission came first, the Ministry of Works came second while the Ministry of Information and Strategy bagged the third position.
The Head of Service, Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade expressed delight on the way the committee has been handling the exercise, adding that the state Secretarial now wears a clean and healthy look.
A cash gift and a trophy was presented to the Civil Service Commission, while cash gifts were given to the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Information and Strategy.
In a similar event, at the Conference room of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, ten workers were given cash gifts and letters of commendation in appreciation of wining the Second edition of workers of the week’s competition.
They are Mr. Adewale Adegoke, Ministry of Environment and Sanitation, Mr. Talib Oyelami, Ministry of Human Resources and Capacity Building, Mrs. Toyin Ojewumi, Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning and Mr. Suraju Jimoh, Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
Others are Mr. Femi Alao, Office of Auditor- General for Local Governments, Mr. Gbenga Oyewo, Office of Accountant General, Engr. A.Adeleke, Ministry of Works and Transport, Mrs. Taiwo Oladunjoye, Ministry of Social Protection Sports and Special Needs, Mr. Waheed Fatoye, Bureau of Government House and Protocol and Miss. Toyosi Akanmu, Osun State Agricultural Development Corporation.
The Competition, which is a weekly exercise, continues next week.
