He was born on November 27th, 1967 in Mushin, Lagos State. He attended Muslim Mission Primary School and Nigerian Model High School.
His debut album "Recognition" was released in 1993 and has released many other successful albums since then. He has also featured in several Nollywood films.
He got his stagename, "Pasuma" from his friend, Adeola Omotayo, CEO Heavy Sounds.
