In the dark
As it's slowly finding its way down
Through the open I watched
The hue drops of rain
My eyes behold
The reign of the rain
Suddenly!
A lightening across the sky
Distracts my eyes from the dark sky
Bringing to my remembrance
Millions of windows are shut at the moment
For the sky do not cry
Neither for me nor you
But of the earth
To shower its hopes
And outpour of blessing on our soil
For the tears is of rain
Pecking on all things
Just like kisses on lips
Beating on creatures with sliver liquid drops
Like drumsticks on the snare
Producing a disturbing and alluring rhythms
For you, Rain!
You were enveloped in the cloud
Like a foetus in the mother's womb
And like a mother who spreads her leg
To be delivered of a baby
The sky had opened up its heart
To be delivered of you
Oh! The rain is a baby
Crying heavily
For I hear the cry like of a new born
As it falls on all
Bringing fortune to plants
Hopes and comfort to human
With an applaud from the thunderous cloud.
