She was born on August 24, 1977 in lkorodu, Lagos State to a retired School Principal father and a Medical Doctor mother. She is the second of three children, two girls and a boy.
She obtained her OND in Mass Communication from the former Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and bagged a Law Degree from the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos State.
The delectable actress came to limelight after featuring in popular United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) sponsored sitcom; "I Need To Know", which ran from 1998 to 2002.
Her multiple award winning Tv Drama series, "Jenifa's Diary" has helped in no small measure in bringing smiles to people's faces whilst still passing a message across to its teaming fans.
She runs a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) known as "The Jenifa Foundation", whose aims and objectives involves nurturing talents and acquiring vocational skills.
She is happily married to foremost Nigerian rapper and superb producer, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz. They celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.
