Yawnaija was born on August 23 in Lagos State but he is a native of Akwa in Anambra State. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts from Lagos State University (LASU), Ojoo, Lagos and also holds a Diploma in Radio, TV and Film Production.
He has been in the showbiz for over two decades and has never for once rested on his hoarse in chunning out his best as an entertainer. He currently works at Wazobia Fm 95.1 Lagos.
