The General Overseer of KICC(Kingsway International Christian Centre), Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo and his amiable wife, Pastor Mrs. Yemisi Ashimolowo, today, Saturday, January 7, 2016 made history in Ode-Omu, Osun State by giving gift items namely clothes, money and food to 10,000 widows drawn from Local Governments across Osun state.

Pastor Ashimolowo is a native of Ode-Omu in Osun State and the founder of Kings University, venue of the event. A mammoth crowd of widows beseiged the event thanking God for the life of the man of God.

According to Pastor Ashimolowo, the programme started 11years ago with 200 widows and has grown over the years to the present position of 10,000 widows. The Deputy Governor of Osun Mrs. Grace Titi-Laoye Tomori was represented at the occasion by the Coordinating Director, Ministry of lnformation, Home Affairs, Tourism and Culture.
