The paternal grandmother of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Madam Mariani Adeyemi Ogunwusi has passed on. She passed on today at the age of 104.
She is survived by her only surviving son, Prince Oluropo Ogunwusi and twelve grandchildren.
Described as a devoted Christian, her remains will be interred during the final funeral activities fixed for 22nd and 23rd of April, 2016.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
