1. Oscar (Chelsea)
The Brazilian midfielder's first hat trick for Chelsea was accomplished in just 29 minutes and, in truth, could have come even quicker, such were the chances he was afforded by the MK Dons defence. Oscar now has eight goals this season and is playing a key role in his club's steady improvement under Guus Hiddink.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
Espanyol must really be sick of this man. Not content with plundering five goals against them back in September, Ronaldo added a hat trick on Sunday as Real Madrid beat their Barcelona rivals 6-0 for the second time this season. Ronaldo's second goal -- a left-footed rocket from 20 yards -- was one of the best he has scored this season.
3. Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City)
City coasted past Aston Villa so easily that Iheanacho's hat trick might be overlooked, but, make no mistake, this was a significant display. At just 19, the Nigerian striker showed the confidence of a veteran to take his goals with aplomb, and there is now a good argument to be made that he is ahead of Wilfried Bony in the pecking order.
It was another good weekend for Mexican forward Javier Hernandez.
4. Javier Hernandez (Bayer Leverkusen)
Two more goals took Chicharito's Bundesliga tally to 13 in 16 games and, perhaps, made further mockery of Louis van Gaal's decision to let him leave Manchester United. Against Hannover, he was the epitome of efficiency as he scored with both of his two shots. Overall this season, Hernandez is scoring with approximately once every three shots.
5. Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)
The Polish striker also scored twice at the weekend -- in a 2-0 win vs. Hoffenheim -- although he took 10 more shots than Hernandez did. Lewandowski has scored all four of Bayern's goals since the winter break and now has 19 in 18 league games this season, which is already two more than he managed in the whole of 2014-15.
6. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)
And here's another Bundesliga brace scorer! Aubameyang was Dortmund's two-goal hero against Ingolstadt, which brought to an end to his longest run without a goal so far this season: two games. With his double, Aubameyang stays one goal ahead of Lewandowski in the battle for the golden boot, which might last longer than the German title race.
7. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain)
PSG now lead Ligue 1 by 24 points, which means that, on average, they have collected over an entire point per game more than any of their rivals. A big reason for that has been the form of Ibrahimovic, whose two goals at Saint-Etienne took his season total to 19 in 18 games.
8. Luis Suarez (Barcelona)
Yet again, when Barcelona needed a big goal, Suarez delivered. In the last year, the Uruguayan striker has scored the winner in El Clasico -- twice -- and in the Champions League final and, on Saturday, his was the decisive strike against Atletico Madrid. Suarez now has 31 goals in all competitions this season, which is six more than his 2014-15 total.
9. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
If Espanyol are fed up with Ronaldo, imagine what Atletico Madrid make of Messi? The Argentine superstar scored the 21st league goal of his career against them on Saturday, with a crisp low shot that settled Barcelona's nerves after they fell behind. Messi was later felled by a cynical Filipe Luis challenge, for which the defender was sent off.
10. M'baye Niang (Milan)
What an eventful weekend Niang had. On Friday, the 21-year-old was linked with a move to Leicester and then, two days later, he played a starring role in Milan's emphatic derby win over Inter. Niang scored a goal and added an assist as he highlighted his undoubted potential. Now the question is whether he can consistently perform at that level.
