Today on TELAWAA(The English Language Academy With Ayo Alonge), we would be looking at some songs we sing wrongly in church.
When you are going to church tomorrow, watch out for how you sing.
1. "Praise the Lord..osingo osingo, praise the Lord."
2. "The most excellency is Jesus..."
CAUTION: For the first, it's actually:
“O sing my soul, praise the Lord” (not "osingo osingo").
For the second, the correct is:
"The most excellent King is Jesus...."
NB: "excellent" is the adjective, not "excellency". The "most excellent" is it, and not as we often sing it in songs.
