
The State of Osun Police Command has arraigned a 23-year-old man,Olayinka Aresa before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing a sum of #20.000.
Aresa was arrested for stealing the money from one Ajibola Suliyat about 8.40pm at Coppers lodge area Dada Estate in Osogbo on October 16,2015.
The police prosecutor,inspector Fagboyibo Abiodun told the court that Aresa committed a three count charge of felony, unlawful entrance and stealing which is an offence contrary to and punishable under section 390(9) of the criminal code cap 34 vol 11 law of the State of Osun, Nigeria, 2003.
In his plea, Aresa pleaded not guilty to the accusations leveled against him.
The presiding magistrate,Mr Olusola Aluko subsequently adjourned the case till Dec 12,2016 when Aresa was asked to pay a fine option of #50.000 with two sureties in like sum.
While in court today,the counsel to the accused,Raji Abiodun pleaded with the court to grant the accused more time and the case was again adjourned till March 30th,2016
